WWF-Cambodia recently facilitated a field trip for local cocoa farmers from Mondulkiri and Ratanakkiri provinces, spanning three districts: Vuong Sai, Oraya Dav, and Orchum. The event took place from April 26 to 29, 2024, with 30 participants, including cocoa farmers, officials from the provincial Department of Agriculture and Forestry, and the Deputy Director of the Green Economy Department. of the Ministry of Environment, according to a WWF-Cambodia press release issued yesterday.
The press release pointed out that the visit, supported and funded by IKI through WWF Germany, provided a platform for farmers to discuss cultivation techniques, pest management and post-harvest processes.
